Prices
Every price on this site is in South African Rand and includes VAT at 15%. Delivery is not included and is calculated at checkout. The VAT portion is broken out on your order confirmation.
We try hard to keep prices and stock accurate, but mistakes happen. If an item is priced wrongly or turns out to be out of stock after you order, we will contact you and either honour it, offer an alternative, or refund you in full. We never charge you more than the price you saw without asking you first.
Placing an order
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract exists once we have accepted it and your payment has cleared. We recalculate every price, total and stock level on our own server when you check out — what your browser sends is never what you are charged.
Paying
Payment is by EFT — a bank transfer you make yourself. We do not take card payments on this site and no card details are collected anywhere on it.
When you place an order you are given our banking details and a payment reference. Use the reference exactly as shown — without it we cannot match your payment to your order. We release the order once the money reflects, usually within one business day.
Your items are reserved while we wait. Unpaid orders are held for 3 days, after which we may cancel and return the stock to the shelf.
Delivery and returns
Set out in full on the Shipping & returns page, which forms part of these terms. In short: you have 7 days to change your mind about an online purchase, and 6 months to return something defective.
Workshop bookings
A booking reserves a bay for a time. Please arrive on time — a late arrival may have to be rebooked, because the bay after yours belongs to someone else.
Our estimates are estimates. If we open something up and find work you have not agreed to and not paid for, we stop and phone you. We do not do work you did not authorise and then invoice you for it.
Please take valuables out of your vehicle before leaving it with us. We take reasonable care of vehicles in our custody, but we are not responsible for personal items left inside one.
Fitment and modifications
Modifying a vehicle can affect its manufacturer’s warranty, its insurance, and in some cases whether it is road-legal. That is between you, your insurer and the manufacturer — we will tell you what we know, but the decision to modify your vehicle is yours.
Accessories we sell are built for particular loads and uses. Fitting a part is not a guarantee that it will survive anything you do with it.
Your account
Keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has it. What we do with the information in your account is set out in our Privacy policy.
Our liability
We are responsible for the goods we sell and the work we do, on the terms above and on the terms the Consumer Protection Act sets. Beyond that we are not liable for indirect losses — a trip cut short, income not earned, a booking missed. Nothing here excludes liability for death, injury, or anything the law says cannot be excluded.
Complaints
Come to us first — send a message and we will try to sort it out. If we cannot, the National Consumer Commission and the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud can take it further.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa, and disputes fall to the South African courts.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version on this page when you place an order is the version that applies to it.
