Shipping & returns

What it costs to get it to you, and what happens if it is not right.

Draft wordingThis policy is a draft written against the Consumer Protection Act and the ECT Act. It has not been reviewed by the business’s attorney, and the courier and delivery rates are not final.

Delivery

Delivery is charged at checkout, calculated from the weight of your order, the province it is going to, and whether anything in it is oversized. Bull bars, canopies and roof racks are freight items, not parcels, and are priced accordingly.

Our courier has not been finalised. The rates shown at checkout are current, but the carrier and delivery times may change before your order ships. If that affects your order we will contact you first.

Collection

You can collect from the workshop instead, free of charge. Choose “Collect from workshop” at checkout and we will let you know when it is ready. Bring the order number and some identification.

When it ships

Orders are paid by EFT, so nothing is dispatched until the payment reflects in our account — usually one business day after you transfer. Unpaid orders are held for 3 days before we release the stock again.

If something is wrong

Damaged or incorrect on arrival

Check your order when it arrives. If something is damaged, missing or not what you ordered, tell us within 7 days and we will arrange collection and put it right at our cost. Photographs of the packaging and the item help.

Changed your mind

Because you bought online, section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act gives you 7 days from receiving the goods to cancel without giving a reason and without penalty. Return the item unused, in its original packaging, and we will refund you within 30 days. You pay the cost of returning it.

This does not apply to items made or ordered to your specification — a custom build, a special-order part, or anything cut, drilled or modified for your vehicle.

Faulty goods

Section 56 of the Consumer Protection Act gives you 6 months from delivery to return goods that are defective, unsafe, or do not do what they are meant to do. Within that period the choice is yours — repair, replacement or a refund — and it costs you nothing to return them.

Fair wear, damage from an accident, and failure caused by misuse or by fitment done elsewhere are not covered. Off-road damage to a part designed for on-road use is not a defect.

Our fitment

Work done in our workshop is guaranteed. If something we fitted comes loose, rattles, leaks or fails because of how it was fitted, bring it back and we will correct it at no charge.

Manufacturer warranties

Most of what we sell carries a manufacturer’s warranty on top of your rights above. Those warranties are additional to the Consumer Protection Act — they never replace it, and nothing on this page takes away a right the Act gives you.

Starting a return

Send us a message or phone the workshop with your order number. Tell us what is wrong and we will tell you what happens next. Please do not send anything back before speaking to us — we need to book it in.
